What is GAGI?
GAGI (Grid and Generation Intelligence) is VLTHRLAB's system for predicting power grid failures and optimizing generation dispatch. It makes invisible grid warnings visible to operators before collapse occurs.
What It Does
GAGI analyzes grid frequency, voltage, load, and generation data in real-time. It detects patterns that precede grid instability and alerts operators before collapse occurs.
Why It Matters
The Nigerian power grid has collapsed 222 times since 2010. Each collapse costs millions in lost production and damaged equipment. GAGI makes the warning signs visible so operators can take preventive action.
How It Differs from SCADA
SCADA systems are reactive — they alert after problems occur. GAGI is predictive — it alerts before problems occur by detecting early warning patterns in the data.
